iNurture raises Rs 28 cr from Ventureast
iNurture, a provider of formal higher education programmes in India, today said it has raised Rs 28 crore in funding, led by Ventureast.
Existing investors Bertelsmann India Investments and Ascent Capital also participated in the Series C funding round.
iNurture will use the fresh funds to expand its e-learning platform for skill centers and distance learning and to expand its managed campuses business, it said in a statement.
Bengaluru-based iNurture offers industry-relevant courses in association with universities/colleges across India. It has partnerships with more than 30 academic institutions and over 6,000 students are pursuing its programmes.
"The new funds will be used to strengthen and grow our unique e-learning platform. The company has benefited from the continued commitment from existing investors, Ascent and Bertelsmann, and is poised well to strengthen its leadership position in the higher education segment," iNurture founder and Managing Director Ashwin Ajila said.
Prior to this round, the company had raised funds from Bertelsmann, Ascent Capital, BlackSoil Capital and GVFL Ltd.
